Page Speed Snapshot — frequently asked questions

Is Page Speed Snapshot really free?

Yes. Page Speed Snapshot is free forever on Sada Files — no ads, no premium tier and no account. Server-side fetches have a fair-use rate limit per visitor so the service stays fast for everyone.

Do I need to sign up?

No. There is no account system at Sada Files. Open the page, enter a URL or paste your code, and read the report.

Where do the numbers come from?

From Google's PageSpeed Insights API: Lighthouse lab scores for performance, accessibility, best practices and SEO, lab metrics such as LCP, CLS and TBT, and real-user field data from the Chrome UX Report when the URL has enough traffic.

Why does it say it is not configured?

The PageSpeed Insights API needs a key on our server. Until the operator sets PSI_API_KEY the tool shows setup steps instead of results; self-hosters can add their own key.

Is anything stored?

No. The URL is sent to Google's API, the summary is shown to you, and nothing is kept on our side.

Why do my scores change between runs?

Lab tests vary with network and server conditions. Run it a few times and look at the trend, and prefer field data when it is available.
