Meta Tag Analyzer — frequently asked questions
Is the Meta Tag Analyzer really free?
Yes. The Meta Tag Analyzer is free forever on Sada Files — no ads, no premium tier and no account. Server-side fetches have a fair-use rate limit per visitor so the service stays fast for everyone.
Do I need to sign up?
No. There is no account system at Sada Files. Open the page, enter a URL or paste your code, and read the report.
How is the page fetched, and is anything stored?
The page is fetched by our server through an SSRF-safe fetcher: only http and https URLs on public addresses, every redirect re-checked (at most 5), a 10-second timeout and a 5 MB cap, sent with our own user-agent SadaFilesBot/1.0. The HTML is analysed in memory and thrown away — nothing is stored or logged, and no cookies are sent.
Which tags does it check?
The title, meta description, robots meta tag and X-Robots-Tag header, canonical link, viewport, html lang, charset, hreflang alternates, Open Graph tags (og:title, og:description, og:image, og:url, og:type) and twitter:card. Each problem comes with a severity, an explanation and a suggested fix, and the page gets a score out of 100.
What title and description lengths does it recommend?
Titles of 30–60 characters and descriptions of 70–160 characters. Google truncates by pixel width, so use the SERP Preview tool to see exactly where your text would be cut.
Why can't it fetch my page?
Private, local and internal addresses (localhost, 10.x, 192.168.x, cloud metadata and similar) are refused for security, as are pages that take longer than 10 seconds, answer with an error status or are not HTML. You can still check a staging page by pasting its HTML into the Schema Markup Validator or Heading Structure Checker.
