Images to Video (Slideshow) — frequently asked questions

What does this page set for Photos to Video with Zoom Transition?

Transition: zoom. All of these stay editable.

Is my file uploaded?

Drop 2–200 photos, pick a transition, per-slide duration, aspect and an optional music track, and get an MP4 or WebM rendered with FFmpeg on our server. Captions come from your own text, one line per slide. Free, no sign-up. Files are encrypted and auto-deleted within 24 hours, or deleted now with one click.

Are there limits?

You can add up to 200 files in one run. Server jobs accept up to 2 GB. A job can run for up to 600 seconds.

Is Images to Video really free?

Yes. The slideshow is rendered in your browser with FFmpeg.wasm, so there is no premium tier, no watermark and no cap on how many videos you make on your own device. Only the optional server path — offered for very large photo sets or phones with little memory — counts against the daily video allowance, and it never turns into a paywall.

Is this AI? Are my photos uploaded?

No generative model is involved: transitions, Ken Burns motion and captions are deterministic FFmpeg filters. The tool sits in the AI Studio next to the generation tools and shares their consent sheet only when you choose the server path. By default your photos, captions and music never leave your device.
