Text to Video Card — frequently asked questions
Is Text to Video Card really free?
Yes. The card is rendered on your device with Canvas and WebCodecs, so there is no premium tier, no watermark and no cap on how many you make. The server fallback (for browsers without WebCodecs) uses FFmpeg and counts against the daily video allowance; it never becomes a paywall.
Is this AI? Is anything uploaded?
No generative model is used: the animation is drawn frame by frame from your text, font and colours. The tool lives in the AI Studio beside the generation tools and uses their consent sheet only if you pick the server fallback. By default nothing leaves your device.
Which languages and fonts work?
Any text in any script. The font picker includes Latin, Devanagari, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam families from the Sada Files font set, with correct shaping for conjuncts and matras. Emoji render in colour.
Which sizes and lengths are available?
9:16 for Reels, Shorts and WhatsApp status, 1:1 and 4:5 for feeds, 16:9 for YouTube intros; 2 to 10 seconds at 24 or 30 fps; MP4 (H.264) or WebM. Add an optional background photo and the colours apply to the text only.
What if I use the server fallback?
Your text and background image are encrypted with a key unique to the job, rendered by FFmpeg on our worker, kept at most 24 hours so you can re-download or Continue with… another tool, then deleted automatically. Delete now removes them immediately. Nothing is trained on your content and no content is logged.
Can I chain it with other tools?
Yes. Continue with… hands the clip to Compress Video, Video to GIF or Images to Video (to use it as an intro before a slideshow), all in memory.
