Animate Image (AI Motion) — frequently asked questions
What does this page set for Animate Photo with Pan Motion?
Camera preset: pan. All of these stay editable.
Is my file uploaded?
Upload a photo, describe the motion or pick a camera preset, and an open-weight video model on our GPU worker renders a short 480p clip with a C2PA provenance label. Jobs queue behind every other tool and run within a daily GPU allowance. Free, no sign-up, opt-in cloud AI with a daily allowance, server files are encrypted and auto-deleted within 24 hours, or deleted now with one click.
Are there limits?
It takes one input per run. Server jobs accept up to 2 GB. A job can run for up to 900 seconds.
Is Animate Image (AI Motion) really free?
Yes, within a daily GPU allowance. AI video is the most expensive thing we run, so every visitor gets a fixed number of GPU-seconds a day (currently 120, about three to four clips) and jobs queue behind every other tool. When the allowance is used up the button says "try again tomorrow"; there is no paid tier and no watermark.
Which model is used, and is my photo trained on?
An open-weight image-to-video model (Wan 2.x small, Apache-2.0, or an LTX-class model) running on our own GPU worker. Nothing is sent to a third party and nothing is trained on your photo or prompt; only a salted hash of the prompt is kept for quota counting. This feature ships behind a flag and may be paused when the daily GPU ceiling is reached.
