Is Generate Image from Prompt (AI) really free?

Yes. Image generation is free on Sada Files — no ads, no premium tier, no watermark. Because every image costs real GPU time, it runs within a daily allowance per visitor (currently 20 images a day, counted per variation). When the allowance is used up the button says "try again tomorrow"; it never turns into a paywall.

Which model makes the pictures, and is my prompt used to train it?

The first provider is FLUX.1-schnell, an open-weight diffusion model under the Apache-2.0 licence, running on our own GPU worker. Claude models never generate pixels here — they only help write prompts in the Prompt Enhancer. Your prompts and outputs are not used to train anything: the server keeps only a salted hash of the prompt for quota counting, never the text.

Do I need to sign up, and is the AI opt-in?

No sign-up. Cloud AI is opt-in: the first time you generate in a session a consent sheet explains that the prompt goes to our server and the picture comes back. Nothing is sent until you agree.

What happens to the generated images?

They are stored encrypted in an ephemeral store for at most 24 hours so you can re-download or Continue with… another tool, then deleted automatically. Press Delete now to remove them immediately. Your prompt history stays on your device (IndexedDB) and can be exported or cleared at any time.

How do I know an image was AI generated?

Every output carries a C2PA provenance manifest ("AI generated with Sada Files") and matching EXIF/XMP metadata. There is no visible watermark. Prompts are moderated before generation and outputs are checked by a safety classifier; blocked requests return a plain error, and only counts (never content) are recorded.

Can I chain the result with other tools?

Yes. After every result a Continue with… menu lists every tool that accepts an image — Remove Background, Crop, Compress, Upscale, Social Media Resize — and the file is handed over in memory. The seed and spec stay on your device so you can reproduce or tweak the picture later.
