Yes. There is no premium tier and no watermark. Each generation is one Claude request plus an office-worker render, so it runs within a daily allowance per visitor (currently 50 requests a day). When the allowance is used up you can try again tomorrow; it never becomes a paywall.

What do I actually get?

A real workbook, not a picture of one: typed columns, number and date formats, header styling, frozen panes, data validation where it makes sense, and live formulas (SUM, IF, VLOOKUP, SUMIFS, GST splits) that keep working when you edit in Excel, LibreOffice or Google Sheets. Choose XLSX, CSV (first sheet, values only) or ODS.

Is the AI opt-in, and is my data used for training?

Cloud AI is opt-in: a consent sheet appears once per session before the prompt or any reference file leaves your device. Claude is called through our zero-retention proxy; nothing is trained on your content, nothing about the content is logged, and only a salted hash of the prompt is kept for quota counting.

Can I start from an existing file?

Yes. Drop a CSV, text or PDF file and the prompt can refer to it — "make a budget from these bank statement rows" or "turn this price list into a GST invoice template". Files are encrypted with a key unique to the job, kept at most 24 hours so you can re-download or Continue with… another tool, then deleted automatically. Delete now removes them immediately.

Are the numbers real?

Sample rows are illustrative placeholders so the formulas have something to act on; set Sample rows to 0 to get only headers and formulas. Always replace sample figures with your own data before relying on a total. The workbook metadata says it was AI generated with Sada Files.

Can I chain it with other tools?

Yes. Continue with… passes the workbook in memory to Excel to PDF, Excel to JSON, Protect Workbook or any spreadsheet tool, and the chain can be saved as a workflow.
