Which parameters does it add?

utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign (the three analytics tools need), plus optional utm_term and utm_content. Existing query parameters on your URL are kept.

What do the presets do?

They fill in a consistent source and medium for Google Ads, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X, WhatsApp and newsletters, so campaigns group correctly in your analytics.

Why lower-case the values?

Analytics tools treat Facebook and facebook as different sources. Lower-casing keeps reports clean.
