Is Photos to 360° Spin Video really free?

Yes. The spin is rendered in your browser with FFmpeg.wasm, so there is no premium tier, no watermark and no cap on how many spins you make on your own device. Only the optional server path for very large photo sets counts against the daily video allowance, and it never becomes a paywall.

How should I shoot the photos?

Put the product on a turntable or walk around it, keeping the same distance and height, and take 8 to 24 photos at even angles (every 15° for 24 photos, every 45° for 8). Use a plain background and fixed exposure. Drop the photos in shooting order; the tool keeps the order you give it, so rename or reorder before you start.

Is this AI? Are my photos uploaded?

No generative model is involved: frame interpolation and stabilisation are deterministic FFmpeg filters. The tool sits in the AI Studio and shares its consent sheet only when you choose the server path. By default your photos never leave your device.

What if I choose the server path?

Your photos are encrypted with a key unique to the job, rendered by FFmpeg on our worker, kept at most 24 hours so you can re-download or Continue with… another tool, then deleted automatically. Delete now removes them immediately. Nothing is trained on your files and no filename or content is logged.

Which formats and sizes are supported?

JPEG, PNG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, BMP, TIFF and HEIC / HEIF photos in; MP4 (H.264), WebM or a looping GIF out, in 1:1, 4:5 or 16:9 at 12, 24 or 30 fps. Smooth motion interpolates in-between frames so 12 photos look like 48; ping-pong direction plays forward then back for a seamless loop.

Can I chain it with other tools?

Yes. Run Remove Background or Product Photo on the stills first, then spin them; afterwards Continue with… passes the video to Compress Video or Video to GIF in memory.
