A mailto link is an HTML hyperlink (`mailto:user@example.com`) that triggers the user's default email client (such as Outlook, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, or Gmail in browser) with prefilled destination addresses, subject line, CC, BCC, and body text.

How do I handle special characters and spaces in mailto links?

Parameters in a mailto query string must be URL-encoded (RFC 3986 percent-encoding). For instance, spaces become `%20`, new lines become `%0A` or `%0D%0A`, and ampersands become `%26`. This generator automatically applies correct percent-encoding for you.

How can I add multiple recipient email addresses?

You can separate multiple email addresses with commas in the To, CC, or BCC fields (e.g. `user1@example.com, user2@example.com`). The generator formats them according to standard mailto URL syntax.
