100% flat opaque PNG — zero transparency allowed
App Store Connect will reject your upload instantly if the PNG has an alpha channel or transparent pixels. We flatten your icon to a pure RGB opaque image.
Like Google, Apple applies its proprietary super-ellipse mask automatically. Provide a flat full square 1024 × 1024 px image.
Medium Display (1206 × 2622 px or 1179 × 2556 px) is required; Apple scales this down to fit smaller iPhones. Large Display (1320 × 2868 px) is optional.
13-inch iPad screenshots (2064 × 2752 px) are mandatory if your app supports iPadOS. macOS screenshots are 16:10 (2880 × 1800 px or 2560 × 1600 px).
