What does Image Transparency Checker report?

Count fully transparent, partially transparent and opaque pixels in every image. Verify background removal before exporting your batch.

Are files uploaded?

No. Processing runs on your device. Select up to 500 supported images and download a JSON report.

How are animated images handled?

Only the first decoded frame is analyzed. Results describe decoded pixels, not encoded metadata.

How are transparent pixels counted?

Alpha zero means fully transparent, 255 means opaque, and intermediate values mean partial transparency. Color histograms exclude fully transparent pixels and count partially transparent pixels once.

Is the tool free?

Yes. No sign-up is required. Large batches depend on your device memory and processing speed.
